The BHFH community after the 2013 Boston Marathon, Tuesday, April 16, 2013
I am filled with gratitude that the BHFH community is safe amidst the violence at the Boston Marathon. We had residents and guests who were running and cheering at the race. Some were very close to the events, but all are safe. We’re quite shaken, and grateful for the outpouring of love and support from around the city and around the world. I lift up prayers that peace permeate the days to come in all hearts: runners, tourists, citizens, law enforcement and officials, and perpetrators of violence. May we be overcome with the peace that passes understanding. Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. –King Community is for supporting each other so that we may we all be beacons of light, hope and love– beacons that are so very important in our city and our world today.
