Beacon Hill Friends House seeks Interim Director January – March 2017

Beacon Hill Friends House, a Quaker intentional community in central Boston, seeks an Interim Director for January 1 through March 31, 2017, while the Director is on sabbatical.

We seek a candidate with the following qualities:

• Experience living in an intentional community
• Administrative and supervisory experience
• Leadership experience
• Quaker (or with strong Quaker experience)
• Experience with pastoral care
• Experience in handling conflict
• Flexibility, tact, and equanimity
• Familiarity with Beacon Hill Friends House preferred

This is a residential position that provides salary and room and board: an attractive large bedroom with loft and private bathroom, 5 dinners per week, and food for remaining meals. Other benefits are not provided.
