Finding the center through my hands

Dear Friends,
Last week was New England Yearly Meeting sessions, the annual gathering of Quakers in New England where we connect, worship, and conduct business. This week I know I am still processing that gathering and all I learned and experienced, and finding ways to reground in my daily life and work.
Sometimes, for me, the processing is best done with my hands: coloring, mixing, kneading, painting, playing the piano, sorting … it’s part of how I am able to give myself space to reflect and to listen. Right now, I’m going to go sort through photos in the Friends House archives, which I hope to share with you very soon.
What activities do you engage in that help you find your center? How do you carve out space for listening in your daily life?
In Light and community,
Jen
